Set up email apps
Use webmail at mailme.nz/webmail, or add your address to any standard mail app with the settings below.
Server settings
Email / username
Your full address, e.g.
you@mailme.nzPassword
Your mailme password (same as account login)
Incoming (IMAP)

Required — same full email and password
If an app asks for “account type”, choose IMAP (not POP) so mail stays synced across devices.
SMTP ports: both
465 (SSL/TLS) and 587 (STARTTLS) work with mailme. Prefer 465 when you can — encryption starts immediately (no cleartext handshake). Use 587 if your app or network works better with STARTTLS. Your choice.iPhone / iPad (Apple Mail)
- Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → Add Account → Other
- Add Mail Account — enter name, email, password
- Incoming: host

mail.websnz.co.nz, authentication on, SSL/TLS, port465(or STARTTLS on port587)
Android
- Open Gmail or your preferred mail app → Add account → Other
- Enter
you@mailme.nzand password - When asked, choose IMAP and enter the servers above

Outlook / other desktop apps
Create a new IMAP account with the same hostnames and ports. Username is always the full @mailme.nz address.
Webmail
Sign in at /webmail/ with the same credentials. From your account you can open webmail with single sign-on when available.
Troubleshooting
- Cannot send — confirm SMTP auth is on; try port
465+ SSL/TLS, or587+ STARTTLS - Cannot receive — confirm IMAP 993 SSL and full email as username
- Wrong password — reset from Forgot password; wait a minute after changing
